Sean Toomey is a third-generation business owner in Amesbury. His career began at the age of sixteen working for the Kataxinos family at Busy Bee Pizza. His college professional career took him to Carrabba’s Italian Grill where he was a traveling opener, contributing to six stores in three states. Next, locally beloved Flatbread came calling. Sean settled in as managing partner in Bedford MA. After seven wonderful years with Flatbread, and his first child on the way, he purchased the new to the Amesbury scene, Crave in 2013. Crave has been more than he could have ever asked for and a fulfillment of a childhood dream to own his very own special restaurant. General Manager Joanna Bichajian joined the Crave team as a bartender in 2015 after stints with local restaurants including, Off the Vine and The Hart House. Joanna worked her way up rapidly, becoming General Manager and the heart and soul of Crave. Timmy Graciale joined the family one year after Joanna. He became the Head Chef of Crave in 2017 after one year as the sous chef. Like Sean and Joanna, he is a career hospitality worker. Sean, Timmy, Joanna, and the rest of the team can’t wait to see you!
