AUBREE WOLLITZ, Pastry Chef

Growing up in Amesbury, Aubree always loved to bake. She followed this passion to Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC where she studied Baking and Pastry Arts. While attending Johnson and Wales, Aubree spent a semester abroad as a Pastry Chef at the Celtic Manor in Wales. After graduation she moved back to Amesbury and went to work with her former employer Hillary Larson, at Eat Cake!, a one- time contestant on Cupcake Wars. Aubree now splits her time between Eat Cake and making exciting plated desserts at Crave.

SEAN TOOMEY, Proprietor

Crave is the fulfillment of Sean’s dream to own a restaurant in his home town. Sean first developed a passion for the restaurant industry while working as a delivery boy for Amesbury’s Kataxinos family at Busy Bee Pizza.  After high school, Sean’s restaurant management studies brought him to the University of Central Florida. While in Florida Sean began a four year career with the southern based restaurant company, Carrabba’s Italian Grill. During his time managing for Carrabba’s Sean traveled between various restaurants throughout New England and learned many invaluable industry lessons. These central experiences paved the way for Sean receiving a position with local favorite, The Flatbread Company. Sean settled back in the area and spent seven fulfilling years with Flatbread as the Managing Partner of the Bedford, MA and Hampton, NH locations. During his time with The Flatbread Company, Sean was able to experience the extremely enjoyable and rewarding relationships that can develop between a restaurant and its community. Over the years, Sean began aspiring to replicate that relationship with the city of Amesbury.  Sean’s acquisition of Amesbury’s popular Crave restaurant combines his love for the restaurant industry with his passion for his home town.
